Benoît Fellay

Dr PhD in sciences

Holder of a doctorate in sciences since 1995, Benoît Fellay possesses expertise and extensive experience in the fields of biology and immunology.

Specialist in clinical chemistry (FAMH)

Furthermore, with his in-depth knowledge of clinical chemistry Benoît provides an informed understanding of biological and biochemical processes, particularly those involved in patients suffering from osteoporosis.

Deputy head of the HFR laboratory - Fribourg Hospital

Since 2001, Benoît has held the position of deputy head of the laboratory at Fribourg Hospital (HFR). He actively contributes to innovation and the maintenance of quality in the medical analyses of the HFR laboratory (accredited to ISO 15189 standards since 2003).

JS karate instructor and black belt (3rd dan)

A passionate practitioner and teacher, Benoît has been a JS karate instructor since 2005 and holds a black belt (3rd dan) in shotokan karate. He regularly enriches his martial art with karate-jutsu, kyusho, and health karate. He regularly attends numerous courses with recognized experts in Switzerland and abroad. His rigorous and pedagogical approach enriches his sports and martial activities and allows the development of original OKenawa programs offered during weekly classes to participants.

ActionType approach (typology 2009)

In 2009, Benoît obtained an ActionType certification, an original method developed by Ralf Hyppolite and Bertrand Theraulaz in the 1990s that explores individual typology and motor preferences, contributing to a better understanding of human behaviors and a better knowledge of each person's natural movement. This approach contributes to the pleasure of moving within one's preferences and reduces the risk of injuries.

Role within OKenawa Sàrl

As a co-founder of OKenawa Sàrl, Benoît plays a crucial role in the organization and development of the company. His responsibilities include:

- Co-manager

- Link for physical activity & medical, particularly osteoporosis in collaboration with the Rheumatology Department HFR and ResOs (Prof. Jean Dudler, Dr. Dorothée Brühlhart, Dr. Joyce Lecoultre, Dr. Julien Sagez).

- Scientific manager, he leverages his academic, clinical, and sports expertise to ensure the continuous development of the OKenawa method with his co-founders and ensure the quality of the services offered.
